Who we are
DropJaw Studio is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have a question about your information or want to exercise a data protection right, email hello@dropjaw.studio.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we may collect your name, email address, company name, the service you are interested in and the information you include in your message. We may also keep relevant correspondence if you continue the conversation by email.
Our eventual website host may process basic technical information, such as an IP address, browser type and request logs, to deliver and secure the website. We will update this policy when the hosting provider is confirmed.
Why we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss the work you may want us to provide;
- take steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract;
- operate, protect and improve our business and website; and
- meet legal, accounting or regulatory requirements where they apply.
Our legal bases are taking steps before a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing DropJaw Studio, and compliance with legal obligations where relevant.
How the enquiry form works
Our contact form is provided by Formspree. When you submit it, your information is sent to Formspree so it can deliver the enquiry to us. Formspree may process information in the United States and other countries and says it uses appropriate protections for international transfers. You can read the Formspree Privacy Policy.
Who we share information with
We may use trusted providers that help us run the website, receive enquiries and provide email. They may only use information to provide those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to professional advisers when necessary. We do not sell or rent personal information.
How long we keep it
We normally keep enquiries that do not become client work for up to 12 months, unless we need them for longer to deal with an ongoing conversation or legal issue. If you become a client, relevant records may be kept for the duration of our relationship and afterwards where needed for legal, contractual or accounting purposes. We delete information when it is no longer required.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, transfer it, or object to its use. You can also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Your right to object
You can object at any time when we rely on legitimate interests. Tell us why you object and we will stop unless we have a compelling lawful reason to continue.
To make a request, email hello@dropjaw.studio. We may need to confirm your identity before completing it.

Google Analytics can collect information such as the pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details, and how visitors move through the site. Google may process this information on our behalf, including outside the UK.

Google Analytics will only load after you choose to accept analytics cookies, and you will be able to change your choice. We will also update this policy with the final setup and retention period.

Children’s information
This website and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you have a concern
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.

We may update this policy when our website, providers or legal responsibilities change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its updated date.
